Who can use Qori?

Anyone with a phone or tablet can use Qori to make an online, remote or in-store purchase.

Where can I use Qori?

Anywhere where you see the Qori logo or the Qori QR Code.

What is Pay by bank?

Pay by bank is the checkout experience for a customer paying with his/her bank account.

This could be via a checkout button or a payment link using a QR Code or an SMS message or a link.
At checkout, when you choose Pay by bank as your payment method, you are asked to select your bank and this creates a secure link in order to authorise your payment.

No card details are needed, there’s no need to create an account and no personal financial information is shared.

What is Pay by crypto?

Pay by crypto is the checkout experience for a customer paying with his/her crypto wallet.

This could be via a checkout button or a payment link using a QR Code or an SMS message or a link.
At checkout, when you choose Pay by crypto as your payment method, you select your crypto wallet which then creates a secure link in order to authorise your payment.

No additional information is needed, there’s no need to create an account and no personal financial information is shared.

Are Pay by bank and Pay by crypto safe?

When a customer uses Pay by bank or Pay by crypto, a secure connection is created between the customer and the bank or the crypto wallet to authorize the payment.

No payment credentials are shared and you authenticate using your banking/wallet login details such as FaceID or TouchID, making it much more difficult for a fraudster to make a transaction using your information.

Pay by bank has the level of security of bank transactions. Pay by crypto has the level of security of crypto wallet transactions.

How do QR Code payments work?

Where a QR Code is included in an invoice of bill as a payment method, simply scan the QR Code using your camera on your mobile phone and this will take you to a secure link to select your bank or crypto wallet and authorise your payment.

Which currencies are accepted for Pay by bank?

All bank-to-bank transaction are in Euros at the moment. With our geographical growth, will soon start accepting other currencies such as sterling pounds and dollars.

Are there any costs when paying with a foreign currency?

The only cost borne by the client is the exchange cost.

Is there a cap to the transaction amount?

There is no maximum practical limit to the amount one can pay with the “Pay by bank” and “Pay by crypto” payment methods.

MERCHANT (you collect payments with Qori)

As a merchant, do I need the Qori app to receive payment?

Yes, as a merchant to accept Pay by bank and Pay by crypto payments on my mobile phone or tablet, I need to download the app and onboard with Qori.
There is no cost associated to this process.

Alternatively, I can install Qori on my payment terminal to seamlessly accept Pay by bank or Pay by crypto transactions. This is an easy process as Qori is available on the android application store of the main brands.

Does the end client need the Qori app to pay?

No, the client doesn’t need any app to pay with his/her phone.

The client can simply scan the QR code with his/her smartphone camera or a QR code reader application.

Are fees being applied to my clients?

No, there are no fees added to the client side when purchasing with Qori with Pay by bank.

The fees charged to you are all inclusive. Current fees are by the merchant only. 0.5% of transaction amount, with a minimum amount of €0.10 per transaction.

If there’s a technical issue with the Pay by bank and Pay by crypto buttons, what do I do?

For Pay by bank, in case of technical issue with the Qori buttons, you will be notified on the application and will have the option of canceling, trying again or changing the bank that you want to use.

Can the client receive a receipt?

The client can receive the receipt via email or SMS directly on his/her phone.

How to make a refund?

To make a refund, please select the transaction in the History on the terminal or mobile phone, click on refund and follow the instructions.

Note: the process is different for Pay by bank and Pay by crypto.

CUSTOMER (you use Qori for your payments)

Do I need the Qori app to pay?

No, you do not need any app to pay with your phone. You just need to scan the QR Code with your smartphone camera or a QR Code reader application.

Do I need to create an account to use Pay by bank?

No, you will just use your regular bank account to Pay by bank.

Simply select Pay by bank at checkout and follow simple steps to securely connect with your bank to authorise the payment.

With which banks can I pay?

Almost all European banks support Open Banking that is used by Qori to offer Pay by bank.

In particular, you can always expect the top 10 banks of each European countries to be accepted, in addition to the neo-banks.

What do I do if I don’t k ow my bank ID?

You don’t need your bank ID to pay with Qori. When you chose Pay by bank as your payment method you will be asked to select you bank, you’ll then be redirected via secure link to your banking app or online banking to authorise the payment.

How can I pay in crypto?

You simply scan the crypto QR Code with your smartphone camera or a QR Code reader application. Then you choose the crypto currency that you want to use and safely access your wallet trough the automated link provided by Qori.

With which crypto currency can I pay

Qori accepts more than 70 crypto currencies.

With which crypto wallet can I pay?

You can safely transact with al leading crypto wallets in the market.

Can anyone with my phone pay the transaction?

No, as there is a double authentication in place to validate the transaction, from your bank or crypto wallet provider.

Are my payments protected?

Yes, we implemented a number of features at merchant and payment processing level to protect your transactions.

Can I receive a receipt?

You can receive the receipt via email or SMS directly on your phone.

When the transaction is complete, does the merchant still has access to my bank account/crypto wallet?

Once the transaction is complete the merchant doesn’t have access anymore to your bank account/crypto wallet.

How is my data used when I Pay by bank or Pay by crypto?

No financial data is stored by Qori. The secured exchange takes place between you and your bank or your crypto wallet provider.
Your personal data remains private, is fully protected and only used to process the payment.

What happens when the transaction fails?

When the transaction fails, both the client and the merchant are notified on their phone and terminal.

The merchant can then generate a new QR code for the client to pay with the same bank or wallet or with an alternative source that the client can specify.

I don’t recognize a payment that took place on my account, what should I do?

If you suspect fraudulent activity with your transaction then please contact your merchant or our compliance department at compliance@qori.me with full details about the transaction and we will assist you.

How does the Pay by bank checkout work?

There are three simple steps to Pay by bank. When you choose Pay by bank as your payment method you will be asked to select your bank, you’ll then be redirected via secure link to your banking app or on-line banking to authorize the payment. Once the transaction is authorized by you at your bank, you are redirected back to the checkout page.

How I get my money back with Qori?

If you need to be reimbursed for a transaction, please contact the merchant where the transaction took place as the merchant is the one initiating the reimbursement process.
